About
From the time I learned to read, I wanted to write. It ‘s always been at the top of my resume. So, I made a living writing for other people, as well as for myself.
It’s an adventure to discover that every writing assignment is different from the one before There is always something new to learn. My career and advocation have taken me from business to business, and each experience provides a banquet for my curious mind.
Of course, some experiences are more meaningful than others. I gained fame being the subject-matter-expert during the 1979 Gas Crisis, appearing on television and radio and being quoted in the national news services as the motorists’ advocate.
Being able to inform and help people gives me pleasure. I was the person in human resources to whom employees could turn if they had questions or complaints. Winning and keeping their trust was something I valued.
Standing up for people and fighting injustice was instilled in me by my upright parents. I am not afraid to protest when I see people misled, wronged, or exploited. Like my father, I am passionate about what I believe in. Some might even call me excitable or obsessive.
Some of my strong opinions can be observed in my writing. A victim of my curiosity and restlessness, my writing doesn’t easily fit into any one genre.
In my writing, I share what is in my heart and mind. I would have to write even if no one else read it. I can’t help being who I am.
I celebrate a world filled with people who suffer or triumph. These are the human experiences that have connected us from time immortal.
